Don Q Signature Release Single Barrel
Don Q Signature Release 2005 Single Barrel will launch in a limited release of only 6,000 bottles. The United States, and Puerto Rico, will recieve 3,000 4.5 litre cases while the remaining 1,000 cases will soon arrive in select European markets.
Signature Release Single Barrel is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) after ageing 10+ years. Don Q says that this rum carries “a really wonderful woodiness, with tanins and sweeter notes”. Don Q has planned these releases as regular line of expressions with a 2007 single barrel arriving sometime next year.
Don Q Signature Release Single Barrel will carry an MSRP of around $55 per 700ml bottle.

Don Q Aged Spice
In addition to their Single Barrel, the distiller will be releasing Don Q Aged Spice rum around the middle of 2016. Designed to offer a “next step” to spiced rum fans this expansion will be a permanent addition to the Don Q family of rums.
Don Q is hoping to elevate the spiced rum category by infusing their Don Q Aged rum with natural spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and tamarind. They say they have taken a rum with “fantastic properties” and elevated it’s sophistication by infusing it with spices. (The Spirit Business)
