Naked Turtle White Rum

Naked Turtle White Rum – Interesting name

The Rum Trader, November 9, 2012March 27, 2013

Naked Turtle White RumI never pay attention to marketing ads that show up along the right column of websites but this one caught my eye…Naked Turtle White Rum. A quick look at the website tells me it’s a 40% alcohol by volume, 80 proof, sugarcane molassas white rum. It’s distilled 5-times in the Virgin Islands (St. Croix). From “The Naked Rum Company” “About Me” page:

“St. Croix. This place is second to none, really.
Which is why we make our rum here.
And at the Naked Rum Co. rum’s the only thing we take seriously.
Naked Turtle Rum is made using the finest sugarcane molasses and is distilled five times using the pristine waters of the Virgin Islands.
Also, it never touches the inside of an oak barrel making it “naked” and seriously delicious.
So delicious we think it’s as good as rum gets.
But what do we know.
It might be even better.”
