I was reading an interview with Jim Meehan, author of The PDT Cocktail Book: The Complete Bartender’s Guide from the Celebrated Speakeasy. In the article, Jim mentioned that he is developing a new cocktail application that will include all of the PDT recipes. He also mentioned that his developer also developed Jeff “Beachbum” Berry’s Total Tiki app.

I was not aware that Jeff had release the Total Tiki app back in April. I definitely would have asked him about The Hukilau last week. I did pick up a copy of his latest book Potions of the Caribbean. I look forward to creating some of the books cocktails for this blog.

Jeff posted a video demonstration of the new app. It’s definitely the most affordable way to access many of Jeff’s well researched, classic tiki cocktail recipes. The one unfortunete part is that the application is only available for iPhone/iPad users.
